In Dion Hitchens presentation he talk a lot of how does he present and display the compositions on the public, such as galleries, coffee shop, public area, garden, and any stores, or shops. In my opinion, dealing with ideas working in the public is not a easy thing, this might be went through some processes and identifications, so the artist can show the work in the public, and this will take a lot of time to hold an exhibition in the public.
Furthermore, Dion mentions four important self-manufacture must be notice, for example, except the public space the other is competition for proposal, commission, and building contracts. The most important thing is building contracts, because when we want to display the work in the public, this motivate should be worked for the client and some of company, and we have to deal with the budget, some public response, vandalism, the durability, and some of consequences from public associations. Besides, building contract can build up the relationship between us and the client, this is the important process that we must to identification.
Next, in most of Dion publication work he create a lot of large objects, such as one of his public work called “Manukau City Square,” he collaboration with local artist Charels Koroneho to finish this sculpture. And the other sculpture work which called “Private Commission, Dunedin,” this is one of my favorite composition that Dion has combined with different medias like he use kind of white wire to make different human figures and body shapes, also the interesting thing is he work with family names on each objects. Therefore, the “Private” has been showed in the public gallery, when I see the photograph from the slideshow, the subject matter showed the different visual effect and become more attractive.
In conclusion, Dion Hitchens shows his ability and a lot of working experiences in the public, no matter the social architect and the drawing technology he always present his work very well for public place.

How is Important for Identity Steve Lovett's Work?
In my opinion, the identity about Steve Lovett, he is a lovely person who likes to present his personal idea with his strong emotion, and the expression. To look through his works, he creates the series of printing and digital prints, and the identical details are related, such as gender, sex, homosexual, or the relationship between guys. However, he shows us the contemporary art, and the design which we can usually see in current society, and the different composition which relate to different culture background.
Moreover, he creates the different style of contemporary art, and combined with the audio equipments, for example, each feature has the sound effect, this is the sound effect by interviewing with people, and the interviewer’s pictures are in his one of his screen print work call “Speaking Parts.” And the interesting thing is this kind of display just like the “picture can talk,” and the picture is talking to the viewers. I very festinated that he uses the other method to present his work, it is like the real people looking at you and talking to you.

Line Drawing Artist- Deborah Crowe
In my point of view, Deborah Crowe represented a lot of strong compositions such as the series of architecture works with several outlines, the whole subject matter is strong and stable, she shows a lot of crossing lings, contexture lines, intersection lines. However, the whole body of work was strong and artistic, no matter the internal, or external, she made the several compositions with different line forms, and shows difference line spaces.
To look though her surface work, she emphasized the importance of body work, and she tried to planning, drafting for the construction, and prepared so many atory collages experimentation for page works. Therefore, she had done several researches to combine with her experimentation work to make series of works.
Moreover, she had not only shows the line drawings on the surface work, but also presented the whole structure on fashion design. In 1997, she cooperated with fashion designer Kim Fraser, then to make her work can wear on the human’s body, she also found out how was so important about the light and shadow that can produce the special effect on her works. When I saw the photo of her fashion design, it is a great composition and strong effect that used the warm light to flash on her fashion work.
Furthermore, we have seen her studio works and I like the reflection and flipping composition which has included a lot of lines and structure in it, the subject matter which has complex and interlace format, it looks like repetition art and the body work is very busy.

The presentation of Mary Curtis
To look through Mary Curtis work, she has done so many researched such as sought around many of European object and jewelry museums, and searched for the crafts, or thing. She even prepared and searching for ideas to make her creations. Overall she is organized and done a lot of collections for the reference.
First, I am festinated about her small object design, she refer to Robert Klippel’s work “Eighty-seven small polychromed tie sculptures,” which were the tiny and little sculptures, also with the colorful layout and the fine lines, no matter the internal or external, the whole construction looks elegant and nice. Therefore, the Klippel used so many materials to build up the structure, and the interesting thing is each object will have different shapes and outlines, also each thing have particular geometric figure. So she followed his style to make lots of small objects with golden color, and used different materials to create different kind of crafts.
Another work which I like is that she transferred Frances Hansen outline work into her jewelry design. She used one of her composition which had spiral and some circle shapes, then she make use of those circling shapes into her rings decorations, she perform with different surface works and particular shapes which I never seen before. I very interested about the way she used solder, bended around the wires became spiral shapes, it shows the elegant circular cone and inlayed on the rings.

Stenciling artist-Frances Hansen
My first impression about Frances Hansen’s work is her stenciling work which was displayed in the library. She used cleaning products or bottles which were not making and were not sale in every supermarket, then made black and white opposite stenciling shapes and colors, it presented the negative and positive format, also painted the background with purple and soft green colors to make the warm and elegant composition. Therefore, she made series of works with same stenciling techniques, and she developed and transformed her works on many of baskets decorations, such as installing art pile up the baskets together, also made the stenciling on each basket with black or white bottle images.
However, her body of work had represented the typical home decorations, in each of works had showed she loves simple, artistic. No matter the color used and the whole concept, she created the warm and comfortable visual effect. I am festinated with Frances’s work about she used amount of objects, source materials to create series of compositions.
Furthermore, during her creation, she collecting recycling crafts, for example, the pieces of card board, boxes, the plastic bags from air line, or the objects which she had been used such as the package papers, newsprint, advertise, and so on. She combined with those pieces of crafts to create the huge construction. A Printer and a Painter- Emma McLellan
In my point of view, the artist Emma McLellan, in her entire spectrum of printing and painting work which represented the different color tone of ancient woman’s paintings in her previously work. And later of her masterpiece, she used different kind of animals, creature portraits to create series of pattern works. For example, she found some references from the books such as the medieval bestiary, then mixed with the ornamental curiosity. I am so festinated about some of her work like “Reiterate” and “Interior in Velvet Blue Damask,” those series of compositions which has made with different painting techniques, also drew by different methods. In “Reiterate,” she used William Morris work to recreate the new patterns with animals and flowers, and replicated the symmetrical images, such as flipping, or reflecting the layout. However, it just like same patterns connective together, then showed the particular format, it looks elegant and the whole layout shows ancient luxurious style.
Furthermore, most of her printing work was made by paint on panel and screen print techniques, also combined with science and technology by using Adobe photoshop, to rearrange the series of reflecting patterns. In my opinion, in the definition of materiality, affect, and site are influence each other. The artist did not only present their work on a piece of paper, but can explored and extend their work by using different media, technical to create and represent the greatest composition.
However, I very impressed about artist Jackson Pollock, he used different color paints such as basic oil paint red, blue, yellow, green, etc. Then sprinkled on the canvas or the paper, and to look through his compositions, it all without the subject matter and the clearly forms. Also it did not have any figures and strong lines showed in whole construction. I thought he made so many mass drawing without used the paint brush to paint on the surface, and he just waved both his arms and held the brushes with some of wet oil paint, and sprinkled the paints on the papers or canvas surface. It produced the special and powerful effects that the paints were combined together, some of the color has lost the original color, but the whole compositions looked busy, tidy, even the tense which obviously to present the artist spent a lot of time to created the strange forms without the fine lines, he just like Da Da Art style and the surrealist who influencing the 20th century of contemporary art. No matter the crazy and the mass paintings, Jackson Pollock was created the particular modern art, then used different type of paint technique to built up the strange forms.
